Nook
2015
Donated clothing, chicken wire, yarn
Dimensions vary

Hundreds of strips of found and donated textiles are stretched, wrapped, and woven through galvanized chicken wire in these colorful lengths of sculptural ‘paintings’, which are suspended in varying layers from the walls and ceiling, appearing to float in the space. Nook is now on permanent loan at Shop Made In DC (Spring 2019).
